Climbing in Escaleras de Jaruco

In Escaleras Jaruco, to only 30 km to the South of Havana City, in the Tapaste municipality, in the Havana county is an unexpected mogotes scenario, virgin mount, caves and magnificent miradors, here some 20 routes traced exist for the climbing practices, this transforms it into a second climbing option in Cuba.

The first route traced in Jaruco was February 12 1999. Here the quality of the rock is good and the place is easily accecible, although it doesn't have such a blinding landscape as that of the Valley of Viñales if it offers a wonderful coastal scenario.
